We've gone a far way since 2014.

Yup, we have done a lot and made lots of improvements in the past year. For example:

So, you get the point. There are some good things happening, but also some bad things. We are getting lots of members, but at the same time, most people on the group are inactive. So, we are going to try and improve cyrex as much as possible! Cyrex in mid/late 2014 was fairly inactive, and i even thought about shutting it down until the members started flowing in. So, lets try and keep up the good work to keep cyrex alive!

Cyrex news is now version 1.0!

If you didn't notice already, we have been doing a lot of experimenting on the website for a while now. We are finished! There is a new search bar, we re-positioned the Weekly Poll, and we changed the background to a more clean and simple one. Hope you enjoy the new update!

Cyrex has a new logo!

Cyrex now has a new and more simple logo. We will keep this logo design unless requested otherwise by the community.

This is the first ever staying official logo. You may have noticed that before this logo, the logos were changing every single month! We have been looking at different designs and seeing how people feel about the new logos.

Cyrex has a TeamSpeak Server!

We have a TeamSpeak server now! Now, the community can come together and talk at a friendly place!

The server usually is on until 1:00AM (I need sleep ya know) and it goes online at usually 10:00AM (unless I'm not home). All you have to do is download teamspeak for free, and connect to the following IP:
73.140.57.9
 If there is nobody on the server, wait and someone might come online!

My resignation has been cancelled!

I have come to the decision that abruptly leaving is not ok, and to leave the group to fall apart is bad. This actually happened a week earlier, but I was making sure everything is alright in the group before I post this. So, I am back! I saw the group was slowly falling apart as it went completely inactive.

My official resignation of Cyrex.

I have officially resigned my duties on Cyrex. I will no longer support cyrex. You can read the full document here. No, this does not mean I am leaving the group, this just means im no longer supporting it (like working on projects, helping the group, etc) as I feel ROBLOX has become a bad place.

Constrcution for the HQ has been delayed.

Unfortunately, construction for the cyrex HQ has been delayed due to events in real life. The current construction status is 5%*, meaning it is at 5 percent and not going up at the current moment. We will resume construction once events have passed on. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Cyrex is now Licensed!

Yep! We are officially licensed with creative commons. What this means is that it is greatly harder to steal things from cyrex. This license states that if you take anything from cyrex, you HAVE to give credit. If you do not, this is illegal. This is not ment to scare cyrex, but it is to secure it from hackers, asset stealers, etc. You can see the license info at the bottom of the cyrex news page.

Cyrex database created to enhance transfer ease of assets

With the recent community-started projects, we also have a system of transferring assets between admins of cyrex. It is called the Cyrex DB, or Cyrex Database. It allows fast file transfer and backup between admins instantly. It is powered by box cloud, and is run in a secure-collab file (Secure file with collaborator access). It is highly protected. If you aren't an admin, then you can view the files, but not download or edit them. If you are an admin, you can add/remove/download files within the database. It has files dating back to even October of 2014! Those files are in the historical documents section of the CDB.

Cyrex Achieved 50 Members!

Wow! Cyrex achieved 50 members! We are growing and at a fast speed. Our next goal is 100 members, and if we reach that I will host a group-wide party! Today cyrex hit a very large milestone and we are woking on hitting another. We appreciate all of the work put into cyrex and people who take their time to work for cyrex, and even just taking their time to join.

New reporting system created to improve safety and security of cyrex

As you may know, the cyrex infraction system has been created to ensure safety, security, and friendliness of cyrex. If someone is breaking a rule, there is now a new system to report these users. You can find this system here.

We try to ensure the SSF of cyrex by setting rules and having the ability to report them. It has come to multiple user's attention that reporting using PM's is very inefficient and takes a while. That's why we created this. A form that you fill out to report a person for breaking the rules. This will further help the SSF of cyrex to become a better place.

You have to agree to this because we cannot have people lie about infractions. This is ment to be a serious system that reports bad users. We investigate everything, so if we find the report false, the person that reported the false report will be banned from cyrex.

New cyrex technology to improve safety at HQ

At the HQ, you may see a barred wall that wraps around the entire map. This is actually a security system. Upon activation, each war is charged with 10,000 volts and kills instantly. The way it lets you know it is on is at each corner of the fence an orange light glows. The orange light means it is armed and electricity is flowing through the bars. This is how it starts: Upon user activation, a blue light blinks at every corner of the map, and a very audible alarm plays that can be heard throughout the map. This goes on for 15 seconds. Then, the blue light turns off, and the sound stops. The bars proceed to charge and the orange light turns on. Here is a video of the process:

As you can see, it works fine. Side note: This is for gameplay purposes, not to protect from hackers. If you see a hacker at ANY cyrex place, report it to the group immediately!

Cyrex Staff Infraction List now Released

The cyex staff infraction list has been released to the public. This list is not to call people out, but it is to let people know what the person has done, and information on the staff. You can go to the list here.

As you can see, all of the staff is OK right now. This shows that cyrex has safe staff.

The Cyrex Codes of Conduct have been released!

The cyrex codes of conduct have been released to the public! The CoC is a detailed document regarding rules for cyrex, and a detailed explanation for the new cyrex infraction system. The original date it was expected was 6/3/2015, but due to a high amount of planning, schoolwork, and other projects, it was delayed. But it is finally out now and you can visit it here.

The Cyrex HQ is OPEN as early access!

No, this does not mean we are finished, or even near being finished. This project started yesterday and will be open to the public forever. The reason we think this is a good thing to do is so people can check out the projects progress whenever they want!

Cyrex HQ construction starting today!

We have decided that the cyrex HQ will start construction today. More information about the facility and the things inside it. The place can be viewed here. This place will be the main area for cyrex staff to have meetings, to trainings, and just hang out. There will be 10 floors. What these floors will contain is information we do not yet have. Once the plan is advanced further, we will release new information.

Offices in the Cyrex Research Facility have been closed

Due to the offices low usage, and amount of freemodels, it has been closed. A cyrex office building has been purposed and possibly will be built. The offices are no longer accessible and have been deleted.

ROBLOX Games completely shut down

At 10:30pm Pacific Time, on 6/10/2015, the games page on ROBLOX has been completely cleared and all games have been restricted access. Now, only 2 games are shown, both "Weird's Admin Treehouse" and "Search for the Squids". What is ROBLOX Doing? More news on this will be released once more information is available.

"Subnautica" Game Testing is Now Public

With our upcoming community-built game "Subnautica", we are doing lots of testing. The test site is available in the "location" area of this post and will be available for everyone to build upon on the 20th of June. The game's official release will be somewhere around the end of July.

New Ranking System Applied to Help Sorting

With the recent group updates going out, we are updating the ranking system. Some of the names have been changed, along with the tags. Originally, the tags said VLR, LR, MR, HR, or VHR. The new tags are acronyms of the rank name. This new system would be easier to sort people, along with an easier way to address whole ranks. For example, instead of saying "Security Tier 1 is going to train today at [ROBLOX PLACE]", it would say "SEC1 Is training at [ROBLOX PLACE] today".

Community-Built Games Commencing on 6/20/2015

On June 20, 2015, cyrex will commence the first ever community-built game. Everyone at or above the "Construction Supervisor" rank will be able to fully edit the game. Just a reminder that if you destroy anything without permission/edit without permission you will be temp banned! (Audit Log). There is 2 games.

These games will be open to edit on the 20th of June.

Cyrex to release group update on 6/3/2015

On Wednesday, June 3rd, 2015, cyrex will release a large update to the group. The description will be cleaned and redone, and the ranks will be changed. We will also update the User created Content Terms of Use, along with the cyrex Rules. The cyrex rules will be turned into the "Cyrex Codes of Conduct" and the User created Content Terms of Use will be turned into the "Content Creation Terms of Use". Nobody's rank will be changed, but the name and rank ID will be changed.

Cyrex Missile Silo - The Escape: Multiplayer Mode is In Development!

Multiplayer mode of CMS-TE Is currently in development. It will feature new levels along with new textures and overall design/details. More information on this mode is on the way and a release date will be out soon! Note: The release will be SOME time in July!
